With the pleasure of finding a new house, comes the responsibility of leaving the old house as we found it. In our case this is quite a big task.
Let me explain, we might have painted a wall
or two:
That now needs to go back to it’s original form. Of course this makes me just a little emotional. We have really enjoyed living here. And even though we have outgrown our space and really need to move, I kind of wish we could take these murals with us.
Maybe it would have been a little easier if Oli told me he hates Mickey and he never wants to see him again?
Over the next couple of weeks we have the pleasant task of fixing, painting, packing and finally moving. This weekend we were fixing – fixing mainly the holes we made in the walls. Removing Oliver’s Mickey lamp shade and replacing it with the former less exciting one. Things like that.
Next weekend we will paint and so we will continue until eventually we will move at the end of the month.
Now that is exciting…

Did you do those murals yourself? They are flipping impressive!

Thank you! I did the murals myself, with a little help from an overhead projector :)
