Reverb11 Day 2: My Children Will Do it Differently

There are a couple of things that come to mind when I think of the things I want my children to experience differently and the choose one thing is proven to be pretty difficult.

I had an easy childhood, in comparison to many others.  My parents went out of there way to give me the best they could and I am thankful for this every single day.  When I fell pregnant with Lu, I was in a very tight spot and in many ways I expected my parents to do what they did best by making life easier for me, unfortunately the time neither of them could.  I needed to learn the hard way.

It was during this time that I vowed to teach my kid(s) the importance of being thankful for what they have.  Grateful for the opportunities they get.  And the importance of working full force for what you want.
